PRESIDENT OBAMA SAID WHAT?
...no longer above his pay-grade

Less than two hours ago, Jim Geraghty from NRO reported the following:

President Obama, moments ago, during the National Prayer Breakfast: "We know there is no God who condones the killing of an innocent human being."

So, let me guess, he'll wait another 24 hours before promoting the Freedom of Choice Act?
In response to this astounding and encouraging statement by radical proabortionist, President Obama, Ed Morrissey of HotAir.com wrote these insightful, sobering, and sagely words:
"Perhaps then President Obama would also agree that we know no God who condones the negligent killing of innocent human beings who survive abortions. Of course, Obama would have to acknowledge now that his position has changed since his days in the Illinois state legislature, when he helped protect abortionists by blocking legislation that would have required a second doctor to act on behalf of infants born alive after an abortion. God knows that those children were and are innocents, alive at birth, and left to die in abortion mills.

Perhaps that will also lead Obama to oppose the Freedom of Choice Act, which would remove all existing restrictions on the killing of innocent human beings in the womb. After all, once the sperm and egg combine, the result is a unique being, completely human, and alive. That isn’t a theological determination, but a scientific fact at the moment the cell begins to multiply, within minutes of conception. Certainly that would be the apex of innocence. If no God condones the killing of an innocent human being, the condemnation for that act would begin at life itself.

We will remind Presisdent Obama of his profound words at every opportunity over the next four years, and thank him for making this as clear as possible."
"The king's heart is a stream of water in the hand of the Lord; he turns it wherever he will." (Proverbs 21:1) If President Obama's words were sincere this morning and not mere political accommodational spin to tickle the ears of gathered evangelicals at a prayer breakfast, then I say amen! Could the Lord be turning the heart of our President on this issue towards a culture of life and away from a culture of death?

In that same chapter of Proverbs 21, Solomon ends as he began - with the Sovereignty of God over human affairs: "The horse is made ready for the day of battle, but the victory belongs to the Lord."

Oh that we would see the demise of the abortion mill industry at every stage in our lifetime that has been tragically led by those possessing a seared conscience, and whom have delighted ethically, celebrated morally, profited financially, and participated barbarically in the murder of millions of unborn children. May this silent holocaust finally come to an end. Now that is the kind of "change" worth hoping for!

The battle is the Lord's!

It is amazing to hear such a hypocritical statement coming from Barack Obama. Of course, he and other pro-death-to-babies-in-the-womb advocates never include the pre-born in such statements.

I was reading a newsletter from Coral Ridge Ministries. Here is a portion of what was written about FOCA:

Any passage of a FOCA bill would supersede Roe v. Wade. The radical and far-reaching measure would essentially enshrine a "woman's right to choose" into federal law.

Sen. Boxer wouldn't mind if that happened. The CA senator was the most recent legislator to introduce a FOCA bill in Congress. She once called a womnan's right to choose a "fundamental right." But during his lifetime, Dr. D. James Kennedy took exception to that point.

A woman's right to choose "is a very interesting concept. It is an aborted sentence. It ends rational discussion; it is an emotional declaration; it is a sentence without a predicate," Dr. Kennedy once said. "Obviously, a moment's reflection would indicate that a person does not have an unlimited right to choose anything he wants to do (including killing someone)."

I can't help but think of what Jesus said about little children - and those who would do harm to them (no less kill them before they are born!):

Mat 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and [that] he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Mar 9:42 And whosoever shall offend one of [these] little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

Luk 17:2 It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones.

Barak Obama is pro-partial birth, pro-infanticide, and to be honest, in a very sad way, he is the only Senator who is not a hypocrite. Which in reality, for me, means his heart is the most callous and evil. He stands firm for Roe, and he goes the distance, where even Hillary, and Barbara Boxer, put the brakes on, and voted for the Born Alive Act.

Good post Campi.

I pray God will open Barak's heart, as He did Lydia's Acts 16:14.

The hypocrisy resides in the fact that Obama claims to take the "high road" when it comes to "the death of innocents" (meaning...in war); but when it comes to pre-born babies, he refuses to take the meaning of "death of innocents" to it's logical conclusion and fight for the rights of the helpless, INNOCENT babies to have LIFE at all!!!

A commenter at my blog recently shared the following article link. Made me so sick to my stomach! I could not hold back the tears...

Fla. doctor investigated in badly botched abortion

Obama is certainly evil. He promotes a culture of death.

President Obama said, "We know there is no God who condones the killing of an innocent human being."

He didn't say that we know that *God* doesn't condone the killing...

He said "...no God...condones the killing...", which suggests that he may believe that there is more than one God, or at least that he wants to accommodate that thought on behalf of those of other faiths.

I often hear politicians talk that way, "the 'God' of this religion" or "the 'God' of that religion".

So, whether it be for theological reasons or for political ones, once again he wants to have it both ways on an issue. That's the pattern I'm seeing.

Maybe he thinks that will absolve him from responsibility, if he "covers all his bases", sounds inclusive, and sounds "middle of the road" (centrist) politically.

For the politicians out there, just for the record, we born-again Christians follow the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Who is the only true God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, Who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and yet one God, Who came to Earth as Jesus Christ, and died for our sins so that we, through believing in Him, could be saved from death and hell.

I do think that if a person is unclear as to whether there is only one true God, it would affect their clarity of thinking, especially when it comes to an important issue as "the right to life".

If you're not sure that there is one God, it may follow that you're not sure when life begins, probably because the Scriptures alone have not been your authority.

Oh, that such words were an indication of a change in our president's heart! Only his actions will prove it, so we must wait. Because he is a politician, I have a hard time believing it, but all things are possible for God, and if at last the prayers for protection of the unborn are being answered, then we must give God all the glory and praise! Even if this is a truly hypocritical statement, meant not only to appease evangelical Christians but all religions (given the plurality of gods indicated in Obama's statement), we still must entrust all things into God's hands, and prayerfully accept his chastening. He will remember the faithful remnant, and we can take hope in that. Should our nation continue to slide towards true persecution of the saints, we can take comfort the Word given in Revelation 14:13 "And I heard a voice from heaven saying, 'Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.' 'Blessed indeed,' says the Spirit, 'that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow them!'".

To act like a baby's life doesn't count because they weren't meant to be born, and to then take his or her life, is the ultimate in being in denial.

"There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death." (Proverbs 14:12)

"...so that they are without excuse, because although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened...

"And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind..." (Romans 1:20,28)

Let's pray for these girls who are thinking of going for an abortion, because they are often lied to that in the early stages of their pregnancy, they are not carrying a baby, but merely a blob of tissue not yet formed into a baby.

With ultrasound, it should be well known by now that this isn't true, but I imagine that there are enough young girls who don't know the truth.

"Hope and Change"

Unborn babies "hopes" are dashed

They get quick "change". From life to death.

Thanks Barack, you piece of...work.

Barack Obama cares not to put his foot on the solid Rock. As long as his daughter is not getting an abortion, he really doesn't care about the issue. Nothing will change during his tenure - abortion on demand will be the law of the land and it will not change. B.O. and most of America's occupants don't hold to moral and ethical absolutes. Its not popular, its not conveinent and its not "tolerant" to hold to absolutes. America kills babies for conveinence, wages trillion dollar wars for "national security", calls pornography free speech, exports jobs to faraway places in the name of "free trade". I could go on and on. America is a sick caricature of its former self and B.O. is its impotent, morally bankrupt, elected leader. We get what we deserve.

In January 20, 1942 a conference was held at Wannsee just outside Berlin. The meeting was to arrive at the Final Solution for the annihilation of the Jews. Only one transcript of the meeting was recovered. During the meeting many words were used such as evacuation, immigration, removal, and many other general words that in normal parlance would mean something, but if taken in the overall historical context mean something much more sinister.

At one point during a coffee break, Maj. Rudolf Lange of the SS speaks with Dr. Wilhelm Kritzinger a lawyer and philosopher. They quietly discuss these words and Lange says to Kritzinger,

“I have studied law, and it has made me distrustful of language. A gun means what it says.”

Men use the terms like innocent lives, termination, and even the word abortion itself to camouflage what is actually taking place. We must not trust the language of man but only the language of God and His Word.

Today, men are more concerned with the aerial killing of Alaskan wolves then the womb invasion murders of the unborn. The unborn are the only truly innocent among us, and their convenient annihilation reveals the godless state of this so called "Christian nation".

It also reveals how evangelicals can get caught up with politics and rhetoric and abandon the weightier matters of God's concern. Like Jason, we must allow the Spirit to plug our ears to the allure of the political sirens that call us to the spiritual rocks. Pray for President Obama, but do not approve of his ways. If he single handedly brought the entire nation to the pinnacle of prosperity, it would still be an abomination to the Creator of Life.

If America is Christian I'm a Buddhist. The blood of the innocent cries out from the sterile clinic rooms, and we as the church must pray for our own revival. We are the messengers that must preach and live the gospel because in the overarching history of this nation's demise, we bear a major responsibility for becoming unequally yoked with hedonistic humanism.

Rick Frueh,

AMEN!!!! Well said.

The most important subject I can possibly imagine. And the most damaging and damning of this country.

A house divided against itself can not stand, the Church is divided against itself. It will be impossible to find this revolution until it is healed and brought together. I realize saying this makes everyone think of Anti-Christ but then that is Satan's plan of keeping you continually divided. The fear, anyone who stands up to restore and bring together the whole church will be damned as the false Christ. So all are afraid they will lose there life, sad....

What a wonderful day to see the power and fear of God that a united church would bring to a world that now has no fear at all.

I have seen many fragments including the feared Mormons and Jehovah's Witness's from the inside and they all carry bits and pieces of truth among the thorns of there existence, just as all denomination do. Facing the fear that Satan has created is the biggest step.
God is in control of Obama and will direct him in accordance with our actions. If We have no backbone, then Obama will, If We develop one, Obama will not be able to stand against Gods will and Gods people. It is a valley or a mountain, depends on your perception.

Yeah , I have heard it before but, If all We have is prayer and no will to stand up and speak out, then We have what We deserve. Not in secret but in The light of day united and in fear of nothing but Gods will for us. Let me paint a picture of where you are now. You would be hard pressed to get 10% of the professing Christians in any state including the Bible belt to show up to protest Abortion. Un-Godly fear and lack of empathy, by the way that 10% would be mostly the young who have not yet lost that innocents.

Now, NO doubt someone will want to argue this and that is my point, Realizing where You are.
