Here's an additional vid from Lecrae that is incredibly insightful and humble. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kCdSWc6BBTQ here is another with lyrics http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nf6EUKPHQMU&feature=channel_page (these guys are a small remnant in what's called Christian rap)
Here's one you'll be able to relate to concerning the music industry (another guy that's associated with Lecrae) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t5Qu5tFYNuA food for thought
Rap is very foreign to me, but the Word of God is a two-edged razor sharp sword which cuts deep into the soul and heart of the sinner, and the redeemed.
I love to hear of my Savior's passion. he did it for His Father, becuase His love for the father was ultimate. And yet, Jesus also gave Himself for me, and for us, His beloved (Gal. 2:20).
have a blessed week in Christ, and may we are be abit more fired up from posts like these, and become a little more molded into his image for the glory of God.
This is the first I’ve heard of Lecrae, but I did enjoy him and wish he had been around when I was working with inner city youth. The graying around the temples has whipped Clairol into submission, and I can recall the days when I was called a radical for listening to Keith Green and Steve Camp. :)

Musicianary; Bible teacher/preacher; religious satirist; biblical reformer; Protestant, and evangelical provocateur. After twenty-nine years in CCM, you get introduced in concert in the most odd and yet, memorable ways.
My personal favorite? John MacArthur once introduced me at Grace Community Church as: "Keith Green with theology." Keith was a dear friend of mine... I was very honored. I started in music ministry in 1978 with the release of "Saying It With Love"-my first album. Since then, by God's grace, I have released a total of 18 CDs/albums.

Biblical truth with intensity, set to music! Reminds me of one Steve Camp. Have you ever tried rap?
