NOTHING REALLY CHANGES EVERYTHING REMAINS THE SAME
...despite all the technological advances

Technology is a wonderful tool given to us today. So may we use it, beloved, to proclaim "Jesus Christ and Him crucified..." and to "preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus as Lord..." Amen?

This video certainly challenges us to think about the Great Commission.

One Observation:
China is aggressively teaching English to its students, and may one day have more English speakers/students (numerically) than any other country. But the "number one English speaking country" claim can be a little bit misleading.

I wondered about that too and couldn't find any source for this claim associated with the video. As specific as they were I am certain the stats were not pulled out of thin air, but maybe not interpreted correctly.

Thank you for your comment brother.

No disrespect intended, but I think whoever made that claim hasn't tried to order a big mac meal in China :)

So what does it all mean?

It means that we had all this information available to us, and Obama still got elected.

Alright, Michele--I wasn't expecting that, and I spewed hot chocolate all over the Macbook.

How 'bout a little advanced warning next time, 'kay? :-)

Good video. Interesting data. It means that mankinds ability to create, process and distribute information is growing. SO WHAT. Have we seen less crime, less war, less anarchy, less intolerance, less discrimination, less revolution, less starvation, less poverty, less depravity, less death?

The human race is always seeking ways to takes its mind off the "big problem" - we are all going to die.

Sorry about that, LG :)

Knowledge is the beginning of wisdom, all that wisdom entails is completed in the life, works, and death of Jesus Christ.

Unfortunately, less and less people seem to care about that when they are glued to Facebook and their iPod. May God forgive us for our complacency.

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" (Prov. 1:7). Of course our society and the contemporary church don't much like hearing about fearing God.

No disagreement. I look at both as one in the same. I did not have real knowledge, until I acknowledged who God is, and learned to fear Him.
