"If I profess with the loudest voice and clearest exposition every portion of the truth of God except precisely that little point which the world and the devil are at that moment attacking, I am not confessing Christ, however boldly I may be professing Christ. Where the battle rages, there the loyalty of the soldier is proved, and to be steady on all the battlefields besides, is mere fight and disgrace if he flinches at that point." -Martin Luther

Great quote! Imagine what ML would think of the churches of today and their avoidance of the Truth.
Keep 'em coming!

Thanks John.
We need a new Reformation again to day in America. I pray in God's providence that it will come in our time. And may it come in a way that no public, famous current evangelical leader will take credit for it or try to capitalize on it.
IOW, may it be so obvious that it is from the Lord that no man can boast except in the Sovereign Lord who reigns and rules all things after the council of His will and for His glory alone!
Grace and peace,
Steve
