Thank you David for your encouraging words. What a sober and solemn day to remember the frailty and uncertainty of life here, the Providence of God, and the absolute necessity, comfort and hope of the gospel.
It is HARD to remember, it is easier to forget. It is the same with our everyday lives...that's why I'm thankful that God has CHOSEN to cast our sins into the sea of forgetfulness and remember them no more.
Thanks for sharing this and helping me to remember that which I must not forget. Our corporate loss and my personal need for His forgiveness.
Isa 43:25 "I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.
This has always been my favorite song, that is why I used it for this video. My brother, Danny, the guy in the video, was a fireman at that time, was sent to NY to help in the clean-up...he had to sift through the rubble to look for body parts. He had a hard time dealing with that afterward. He got married last February to a wonderful lady and they just found out that they are going to have a baby in March. He is so excited, as we all are. Thanks, Steve, for sharing this, it was a surprise to come here and find my video. God bless!
Amen. What a fitting song in the face of death. You don't know how often I have found myself singing this song brother Steve in all the trials and such catastrophe as this reminds us of the death that Jesus embraced for us for out of death springs His life from the tomb.
I have locked on to a recent verse lately that is comforting and I hope it will be comforting to others here.
"As grieving yet always rejoicing, as poor yet enriching many, as having nothing yet possessing everything." 2 Corinthians 6:10
Those firefighters are a symbol of hope to us in the midst of tragedy but greater by far is that cross that reminds us that there is hope for all who reach ground zero and think that all is lost to hell and death. We find such life at the cross and in the apostle Paul's words. Hallelujah! It is finished. We will be taken to the bosom of the Father soon and all such tragedy we have met in life will be forgotten but until we reach that heavenly shore may we never forget 9/11.
Hello everyone! I just want to thank Steve Camp for posting this video. My name is Danny, and my sister made this video (I am the Danny being refered to). 9-11 is a hard day for me every year. I held my youth group meeting yesterday 9-11-09 and this is what we talked about. I just wish I would have been able to show them this video. It was a great youth meeting because it helped a lot of the kids to understand just what happened on that day because many of them were only 5 or 6 when it happened. The subject was "How the People of God Should Respond to a National Tragedy". And I must say that yesterday I had the greatest response from that group of teens. Even though 9-11-01 was a horrible tragedy, I was able to use that to witness to these kids and that is the greatest thing I have been able to do with my experience! Thanks again Steve and to my sister Sue who mad the video thanks and God Bless you all!
To remember such an atrocity awakes the soul in so many ways. I remember coming home that day after work and the first thing I saw on TV were people jumping from windows of the Towers. I thought they must be jumping into fireman's safety nets. But they were jumping 80 stories to their death.
I was overwhelmed. I prayed to the Lord with such a heavy heart that day.
Thanks Steve for posting this, and thank you Karen for putting this video together as a memorial.
Lord bless you with great grace and joy in His love.
All for the Cross, which was infinitely the greatest atrocity to ever happen, and also the most glorious of all of the Lord God's acts of mercy. Nothing can compare to the Cross.
"But far be it from me to boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by which [2] the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world." Gal. 6:14

My personal favorite? John MacArthur once introduced me at Grace Community Church as: "Keith Green with theology." Keith was a dear friend of mine... I was very honored. I started in music ministry in 1978 with the release of "Saying It With Love"-my first album. Since then, by God's grace, I have released a total of 18 CDs/albums.

Thank you Steve.
This is one of the best songs ever written; used here to help inspire reflection and hope amidst our memories of such a heartbreaking time.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of those who felt the pain of that tragic day and feel it still.
God bless.

Beautiful song.
I couldn't watch the video as I get too angry and want to do serious bodily harm to terrorist sympathizers.
Hi Steve,
I'm back! Just went to you other site and read your policy about purchases, WOW!!
I remember Kieth Green did the same thing. I'm so impressed.
I pray God will bless your ministry many times over!!
