It's been awhile since I have activated this feature... but there are a few exciting and edifying things that I wanted to draw your attention to:
1. C.J. Mahaney "Deflating the Puffed Up Church" (Text - 1 Cor. 4:8-13)
This is one of the best messages I have heard in some time bar none. I was brought to conviction with almost every phrase and yet at the same time, encouraged to live more wholly for the Lord and His glory.
It is a powerful call to humility in ministry, holiness of life and Christlikeness in all things. C.J. delivers with his usual infectious passion; but it is not needless emotion from a well-experienced orator. It is great theology erupting from the overflow of the heart surrendered to the Lordship of Christ. This is a man who trembles at God's Word when he preaches.
You can listen to more of C.J.'s teaching here.
2. Caedmon's Call - "In The Company of Angels II"
This is one of my favorite bands in Christian Music. This CD in particular combines great artistry with solid, biblical lyrics. I so appreciate these brothers and the work that they do as evangelists in the marketplace, especially on the college campus's, for the gospel of Jesus Christ. I would highly recommend you visit iTunes and make this part of your worship music library.
3. The teaching ministry of Ligon Duncan.
J. Ligon Duncan, III is the senior minister of First Presbyterian Church in Jackson, MI; a prominent congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA). He is also the Chairman of the Council on Biblical Manhood and Womanhood and is president and chair of the Council of the Alliance of Confessing Evangelicals. In 2004, he served as Moderator of the General Assembly of the PCA, the youngest moderator ever elected.
His messages have been some of the most impacting, theological and biblical I have ever heard. I have benefited tremendously from this brother's ministry and I know that you would as well. I would also draw your attention to his message this year at The Shepherd's Conference on 1 Cor. 10. In it, he demonstrates the continuity of faith that we have as believers in the Lord Jesus Christ throughout all of redemptive history. This is a must listen to.
I hope you will all have a wonderful weekend enjoying family and friends. And remember to fellowship together this Lord's Day. No greater place to be than in the house of God with the people of God.
Grace and peace,
Steve

Mahaney is an example for all of us! I so admire his humility and love for the brethren and his passion for God.
Well said - I couldn't agree more.
I don't know if you had heard his message from this past Sunday or not, but it is very powerful.
Thank you for your comment...

I have listened to the other Resolved message, The Suffering Servant.
I did not know that one can preach like that, with such intensity and passion, that it almost touched my skin (and I am not charismatic, as You know ;) ).
Have a blessed Palm Sunday.
thanks for this post Brother
It reminded me to redouble my efforts to take advantage of the means of grace through preaching and specifically preaching by these two men and it reminded me of years of being edified by Caedmon's(since 96)
