"Out of Their Minds" Comment Page

Check out this new sidebar thumbnail. The inaugural posts here highlight four separate happenings:
-Sgt. Mark Seavy confronts and puts in their place, two out of touch Dem congressmen on troop moral in Iraq and gets no response. This is a must see video clip (I support the troops in Iraq and appreciate the selfless courage they demonstrate everyday. You have our prayers and gratitude!);
-Pat Robertson's latest prophetic insights into the death of world leaders;
-the strangest wedding ceremony anywhere on the planet (this couple is definitely swimming upstream);
-and another round with Sunday evening worship being cancelled for a run at politics... the evangelical way.

Enjoy the weekend,
SJ C@mp

In regards to Mr Robertson I can guarantee the media will be running to him for more comments in the future. The media loves these types of opinions yet Christ and Him crucified they want nothing to do with.

If you do have a chance Steve I often get asked this question regarding the tree of the knowledge of good and evil would love to know what the Lord has revealed to you.

I love the concept behind this new feature.

I especially enjoyed the first video clip from the Malkin site. The expression on the congressman's face is priceless!! : )

I look forward to reading more examples of folks gone over the edge in future posts to the section!

Pat Robertson is nuts; with all respect. I saw him talk to God one time on the tube, and he said God was "healing 100 diabetics right now."
No way that was the Almighty Lord of the universe, and it's sad that people have to see this horrible witness on the airwaves, and that Christians acknowledge Pat as a powerful man of God.
Politics and Christianity drives me crazy. I understand where this brothers and sisters are coming from; trying to stand for good over evil, but they make God out to be a "republican", and that's what gets under my fingernails, even though I am one myself. I hate it.
God forgive me for being imperious.
Growing by His grace. Don

I think the media is extremely hypocritical to be jumping on Pat Robertson's every blunder.

They never pay any attention to anything good he might have said. And they don't care in the least what good he may be doing otherwise.

The man has simply spoken his views (right or wrong) on his own show to his own specific audience. Why does the world care? He wasn't speaking to them! And they don't listen to anything else he says.

The media is just trying to jump on any 'Christian' blemish. The church should not join them. It might be right to decry his error in another context, but not in this one- following the world's lead.
