Salvation is not free. It cost Christ his life, and it costs us ours. If every so-called altar call was imbued with the phrase: Repent, profess Christ as Savior and Lord, and release all that you are and all that you have to the absolute ownership of Jesus Christ to be used for His purposes alone no matter the cost to you.......Something tells me that the numbers of "decisions" for Christ would would fall drastically.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14012689.post-66695587268100738072009-07-09T01:45:53.214-04:002009-07-09T01:45:53.214-04:00Thanks for the book recommendations. Repentance on this matter of covetousness is a thing I zealously seek, but have not yet found. My family and I love your album Abandoned To God. That was an album God really used in my life while calling me to missions. What an awesome responsibility! Thanks for the great music. Your 2nd question, "What has the cross cost you?" reminds me of a great old hymn:

I gave my life for thee
my precious blood I shed
that thou mightst ransomed be
and quickened from the dead
I gave, I gave my life for thee
what hast thou giv'n me?
I gave I gave my life for thee
what hast thou giv'n me?

Keep on singing, brother.Ekklessia Boyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08619798013580674345noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-14012689.post-49794541110841167492008-06-01T01:46:00.000-04:002008-06-01T01:46:00.000-04:00DIGGING DEEPER"Jesus Our Man In Glory" by A.W. The Lord has provided numerous witnessing opportunities with my partners (co-workers) and customers I would not have otherwise met.

Every so often, my partners and I will huddle up, and read the day's "The Way I See It." So often as I'm reading them aloud to the group, my voice will begin to trail off in a monotous tone filled with unenthusiasm. My partners now ask me, "Haha. What's wrong with it this time?" I've had so many responses to this question, but the most common is this: "THAT is nearly the complete opposite to my worldview and my beliefs as a Christian." But rather than these mini-convos having a negative influence on my unbelieving partners, so often they are intrigued enough to talk to me later about what I've said.

I've been a Starbucks junkie for years. Now I'm a Barista, and I luv it.

In case you're wondering ... my favorite drink: an Iced Single (shot) Venti Non-Fat Light-Ice Tazo Chai Tea Latte.

In the perfect work of Christ,
Caseyrustypthhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14050680318878122036noreply@blogger.com
